Little Rascals

I just have to blog this! On Sat, I was wandering down the aisle in Haven, deciding what to order. Well, Liping saw a table of little kids and called me over to see them. They were soooo cute! 4 to 5 little rascals at a table, with no adults, all chattering away animatedly.

We called Jianxun over to see the rascals too, and he gushed over them too! But erm, Liping was so besotted with them he wanted to take a picture of them. Wow... what charm those little rascals possess! Jianxun and i stopped him... hahaha. But that picture is indelible in my memory for now. Well, since i don't have a picture of them... i decided to post another picture of precocious little girls just before their ballet class. Enjoy!

Charlene sayz...

Am ploughing through my crazy load of psycho readings now... hopefully i can finish it by class time, so i'll be ready for the psycho Jeopardy when it hits me! We never know when we'll become a contestand on psycho Jeopardy, coz she draws our names from a paper bag. Ah but well, it keeps us on our toes.

Anyway, while reading... what Charlene said during pow-wow suddenly came to me... hahaha... she said tt the prettiest people in the world resemble two animals: deer and mouse.

*mouse grinz widely*

Don't burst my bubble just yet... let me bask in this revelation for a while more k? Heez
Then again, some people have ever said tt they think i'm pretty... well, i guess it's coz i'm like a cute little mouse? *grinz*

The Rose
Amanda McBroom

Some say love, it is a river
That drowns the tender reed
Some say love, it is a razor
That leaves your soul to bleed
Some say love, it is a hunger
An endless aching need
I say love, it is a flower
And you it's only seed.

Its the heart afraid of breaking
That never learns to dance
Its the dream afraid of waking
That never takes the chance
Its the one who won't be taken
Who cannot seem to give
And the soul, afraid of dying
That never learns to live.

When the night has been too lonely
And the road has been too long
And you think that love is only
For the lucky and the strong
Just remember, in the winter
Far beneath the bitter snows
Lies the seed that's with the sun's love
In the spring becomes the rose.

Love this song... Mel and I were really crazy over this back in our sec sch days. Oh how i remember us clamouring for the choir scores... singing them in parts... singing them without parts... Neltje too. Beautiful song... Another one of those warm songs that takes smooth warm vocals to carry it off.

Heh... think i've caught the posting-nice-love-songs-on-my-blog streak from junz. But then again, this song brings back lotsa memories. All the 'stupid' things we did back in sec sch... admiring seniors so much, wanting to emulate them... hahahaha. We'd buy the choir tix, or put our names down for ushering so we could see the seniors more... it was really infatuations! But well, we've outgrown that stage, and yups, those seniors really did serve as good role models for us through sec sch lives.. I wonder what's happened to them now...

Nice song... my uncle let me listen to it on his mp3 player. Really soothing vocals... but can't remember the singer! Anyway, have posted the lyrics here... seems like it was originally sung by John Denver and Lucido Placingo.

PERHAPS LOVE
Perhaps love is like a resting place, a shelter from the storm
It exists to give you comfort, it is there to keep you warm
And in those times of trouble when you are most alone
The memory of love will bring you home

Perhaps love is like a window, perhaps an open door
It invites you to come closer, it wants to show you more
And even if you lose yourself and don't know what to do
The memory of love will see you through

Love to some is like a cloud, to some as strong as steel
For some a way of living, for some a way to feel
And some say love is holding on and some say letting go
And some say love is everything, and some say they don't know

Perhaps love is like the ocean, full of conflict, full of pain
Like a fire when it's cold outside, thunder when it rains
If I should live forever, and all my dreams come true
My memories of love will be of you

Some say love is holding on and some say letting go
Some say ove is everything and some say they don't know

Perhaps love is like the mountains, full of conflict, full of change
Like a fire when it's cold outside, thunder when it rains
If I should live forever, and all my dreams come true
My memories of love will be of you
Keep on bidding! Keep on bidding!

Yay! My timetable woes are almost over. Have gotten 3 courses, and i'm satisfied with that. Now am just wondering if i should take psycho... think i will. The challenge is there!

But while i was thinking about it... Fred gave some pretty 'good' advice. Let me quote his sms:
"Psych will kill because of the 70-80 pages of reading per week. Corp rep will confuse you if you dun know your FA. Can lah. Dun think it will hurt you."

Thanks ah. Make it sound so bad then say it won't hurt me. Haiz... and i thought i could slack! :p Hahaha... anyway, i've been through some crazy terms before... but here i am, still alive and kicking so i guess, just gotta jia you!!!!

I'm convinced that the brothers need more than just a CHIV101: Chivalry course. I'm convinced that they need a PREG101:What happens in childbirth course...

Let me state my case and you judge...

Brother 1: He thought that women crap babies out. Translated, it means he thought babies come out the same way that faeces does. And he just found out this year that babies take a different passage.

Brother 2: Quoting him "so, what happens after the placenta comes out? Push it back in?". Enough said...

Is my case strong enough? We almost choked on our food in mirth... and we were laughing so loud that if their skin weren't so thick, they'd have been lobster red.

So well, i think guys really should learn more... it's general knowledge... plus at least they'd know a bit of what was going on when their wives go into labour...
