Salty sea breeze blowing...
Went blading today at East Coast. Was supposed to meet Angie and Jingyi... but Jingyi had an interview at the last min, so could only meet Angie. Anyway, Angie's friend Desmond was there too. He's a real good blader (even Jx says so...), with all the stunts and all.
Anyway, it was the first time I'd bladed since Sec 3 so Angie and Desmond were helping me and guiding me along... but after going over the first hump... i fell. *BOM!* It hurt... it rattled my backbone and i scraped my elbows.
Fell lots more times... once i even fell into push-up position! Yes... i fell flat on my face... only my face wasn't touching the ground coz my hands blocked it. And i used my elbow to block too... so the wound hurt... and the plaster became defunct. We all laughed at my spectecular falls! I'm really a freak accident person...
The last spectecular fall involved Jx... he came later... so once he came, Desmond and Angie went blading off. Continued to practice T-stop and all... and i definitely need help, so Jx bladed along with me... very slowly... guided me and all. Well, at one hump tt was quite high... he gripped my arm as i went over... i somehow did a u-turn stunt, and tipped sideways, resulting in both of us falling. *BOM BOM!!!* Ultimate... haha
Anyway.. i like going activities with people when i don't feel like a liability... felt like a liability to desmond and angie... i felt it very much tt because i was there... they couldn't go and blade fast. And they couldn't teach me how to stop... so i just went rolling down a slope at an ever-increasing speed until a jogger came to help me! Yeah... it's easy to see when u ain't really wanted.
Still... i've been offered FREE blading and cycling lessons! Heh... So fun... but next time, MUST go and bathe immediately after tt... even if it means borrowing someone's bathroom or toilet... hahaha

Yesterday brought back memories... of falling down while being cycled a few years back... That time i was sitting on the bar of my friend's bicycle... and i was lighter then k! Anyway, she lost control and banged into another friend's bike. I promptly flew off and slid on the hard and sandy pavement! The two girls fell on me and the bikes fell on them. Guess what? I was the cushion... took all the injuries... elbows, knees... ouchie..
Yesterday's fall also had me being the cushion. Good thing no one was hurt... I think i just further aggravated my wound that's all... I think i'm destined to be a cushion! A cushion for falls that is... hahaha. It's good that i've got enough meat to bolster the falling effect... or else i'd be hurt man. Someone heavier falling on top of u ain't no joke! Yeah... good thing i gained that 6kg!

Mouse's Record Run
I jogged/walked a grand total of 3++ km today. Jogged at Macritchie... nice scenary... therapeutic water... gigantically greedy fish and tortoises!
The after-feel is good... Painful and sore muscles, but a feel-good feeling.
Oh! And we went for prata after jogging. Had mushroom prata. Not bad. Xin had her egg prata plus a briyani... Mark and i were teasing her that she ran just to eat! Hahaha... and she said she wanted to lose weight.
Girl, i think the hula hoop will do a better job! grinz...
Can't wait for the next run next week. But think i'll keep it to 1.5km or 2km...

I want my maggie mee!!!
Maggie mee's off to camp... for 2 days and 1 night. But i started missing her in less than a day...
Oh, for the uninitiated, maggie mee's my sis... it's Jeremy's pet name for my sis.
Anyway... i miss the fighting for the TV remote, fighting over TV channels, scolding her for not eating her lunch, guilt phone calls from her to me that always go "jie jie, where are you? how come you're not at home? how come you cannot come home now?", and tucking her into bed at night when she's already asleep and in some acrobatic position with the blanket all kicked off...

La Toya's Out?!
Outrageous... Sure, Jasmine Trias is sweet and all that... but her voice...
Fantasia, La Toya and Diana sang EFFORTLESSLY. Jasmine strained her heart out... Singing well is not about straining but about making it seem so effortless.
It's an outrage that La Toya's out... She's the best singer! And La Toya and Fantasia really are in a league of their own...
America seems to be making quite a number of voting mistakes here... Camille wasn't out fast enough... La Toya and Fantasia were in the bottom few before..and La Toya's out.

Milo Bing!
Had 3 servings of milo today... actually, more like 4.
First one was coz i made the stupid mistake of not drinking water before and after exercising... and went out immediately, so felt a bit dizzy. Low sugar level. Bought one milo... happily drinking it... then Jx called and asked if I still needed iced milo.
Figured cheers would be cheaper than cinema price so yeah, i asked for another one. Refilled my cup... that's serving two! Almost spilled it... David helped me clean the cap while i went to wash my hands hahaha... Well, after all that, I had to praaack.
Third and fourth helping came together... in the form of Milo Dinosaur! Went to El-Ameen for supper... and the milo dinosaur there's really rich and sweet and just chocolicious! Wei-En'll love this... Anyway, it was such a big helping and so filling that I couldn't finish my cup. Serene couldn't finish hers either... and Wj and i agreed tt ser and i should've shared a cup in the first place!
So there! 4 servings of milo. Hope the throat doesn't worsen!

Wouldn't It Be Nice
Yesterday was fun! Went out with Xj, Jx, Serah, Carol, Ben (Indo-Chinese)...
Sight 1:
This left us all feeling a bit sick in the stomach... Mr. White Uniform and Ms. IJ Uniform held hands into Yoshinoya... with Ms. IJ Uniform's brother tagging behind. There they were, the two nerdy looking people whispering sweet nothings to each other and playing with each other and poor little brother looking on... Xj had to swap places with Jx... and even Jx couldn't stand it!
Sight 2:
2 people shouting out a deliciously catchy song! We joined in... haha. Love it... it's by the Beach Boys and it's really catchy! We were just singing along to beach boys and take that and i dunno what else!
Sight 3:
3 people groovin to the music! Funny!!!!!!! Jx beckoned me to join... but i dunno how to dance so... heh. He let me off coz i've never chionged before... But poor Sau got dragged on the floor by Jx and Lor to try and dance! She was laughing too much... hahahaha!
Well, all in all, I got to know my bros and sis in Christ much better yesterday... it's really wonderful... to know that we all belong to this family!
And... here is the song that kept us enthralled for ages!

Ok, so it's not the nationwide big walk... but hey, Xj and i walked all the way from Bugis Junction to Cineleisure! Wow... my legs are aching now... hahaha... that goes to show how unfit i am.
Anyway, my left foot's hurting more than my right... prob coz I was so tense today when executing all the left turns... sharp turns, gentle turns... plus a lot of stalled engines around so i had to be extra careful and alert! Pressed the clutch so many times today... and held on to it too... hai...
But i think i'm getting the hang of it. Need better co-ordination though... my hand-leg co-ordination sucks... ok, so if it's 2 hands and 1 leg, i'm fine... but throw in 1 more leg and u'll see a messed up mouse... somehow i'm just hoping that i'll pass by the time school starts....

Round and Round and Round and Round.........
Had my first driving lesson today. What an experience! First, I saw Edwin in this bright luminous yellow and black soccer jersey... but we didn't say hi coz we were too far away and not sure if it's the correct person.
Second, I got a really crappy instructor! Started telling me red light is to go and green light is to stop... hahaha... and that must check under the car for ants and cockroaches (?!) before driving off. Hmmmm...... Haha. Well, that was pretty informative.
Then I got into the driver's seat. Fiddled with some knobs and then... it poured. Not too bad, normal rain so just switched on the wiper to a constant wiping speed. During that time, I tried out moving the car... almost crashed into another car! Whoops...
But soon, was out on the circuit circling and circling and circling.. am still not too good and gauging when to turn left and all, but hey, it's my first lesson! I could move smoother and more confidently than the car in front of me... Most times that car engine stalled and so I would have to brake. I stalled a few times too... when i panicked and just lifted off all the pedals or stepped on a few pedals at one go!
Well, i'm so used to pressing hard on the piano pedal with my right foot that erm... i always tend to accelerate very hard! So the car engine really goes vroom very loudly. The amount of pressure for both pedals is so vastly different!
Am looking forward to Fri's lesson... let's hope i can get the turning right by that time! And that can drive straight and know when to turn... and get the hand over hand method right...hahaha... u should see what i do when i panick. it's quite hilarious! =)
